Sue combined her training as an educator (she has a master's degree in child development from the University of Rochester) with her many musical talents to create this recording of the best in contemporary and traditional children's songs. Reach to the Sky has received a rousing reception from kids, moms and dads, librarians and teachers. Sue is a popular performer at schools, festivals and conferences. She has served as program director for Pinewoods Campers' Week in Massachusetts; been on the staff at the Augusta Heritage Vocal Week, Elkins, West Virginia, and directed the children's programs at the summer music institute, Common Ground,in Westminster, Maryland. The 40-page, spiral-bound companion book features music and words to the songs, with guitar chords, instruction for the games and suggestions of ways parents and teachers can involve children in the music.
